CELEBRATE VALENTINE’S DAY AT VINO WITH SPECIAL PRIX-FIXE MENU

Vino, Birmingham’s premier Italian- Mediterranean restaurant in Mountain Brook’s English Village, is pleased to present a special prix-fixe  Valentine’s Day menu crafted and selected by Owner Al Rabiee. The dinner will feature four courses including canapes, starters, a selection of main courses and dessert, and will be available for $70 per person from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020.

The prix-fixe menu will be prepared by the Vino culinary staff and includes a variety of unique options to choose from, including classic Vino favorites as well as new selections. Along with the dinner, guests will also receive a complimentary rose and white chocolate-covered, Moscato-infused strawberries. With its special menu, wine selection and romantic atmosphere, Vino is the ideal location to spend the most romantic day of the year.

“Vino serves as a romantic destination throughout the year, but we like to make guests’ experience even more special on Valentine’s Day,” says Rabiee. “Guests are sure to enjoy the four courses we are offering as they feature something for everyone. We’ll also be featuring a very a popular item from last year – our white chocolate-covered, Moscato-infused strawberries.”

Each main course item features a suggested wine pairing available for additional purchase.

The 2020 Valentine’s Day menu is as follows:

CANAPES:

-Chef’s selection of mouth-watering savory hors d’oeuvres. Served with white chocolate-covered, Moscato-infused fresh strawberries.

 

STARTERS (Select one):

-Sautéed Mushrooms, peppers and shrimp in a lemon herb oil

-Leek and Cauliflower bisque, garlic and herb croutons

-Bang Bang Cauliflower with sweet chili drizzle

-Red Beets Butter Crunch, roasted pumpkin seeds, oranges, red onion

-Warm Spinach Artichoke, Hummus and house chips

 

MAIN COURSES (Select one):

-Braised Rosemary Lamb Shank, Moroccan Couscous, root veggies and Shallot

-Grouper Farfalle, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, Caper Lemon
